We understand how important it is for our customers to enjoy good food that is safe for them to eat, in a place that really cares.” Approximately 10% of the population have Coeliac disease, 15% have Hashimoto’s or other Thyroid diseases and 25% of the population have IBS. There is a belief these are ‘iceberg’ statistic with more people without diagnoses.
Most of The Spontaneous Cuppa customers who can’t eat gluten are Coeliacs, have Hashimoto’s (like Anne), are living with IBS, are in remission from Bowel cancer, have enlarged livers, Eczema or have Neurological disorders. We also have customers who don’t have any medical conditions who tell us they enjoy eating in our café.
