This establishment is a total delight and a joy to frequent. The food we have eaten is sensational and cooked to perfection. The care and love that goes into it is amazing. The result is fabulous flavours and true satisfaction. This is so rare in any restaurant these days so well done. We followed our meal with a delicious flat white – great coffee! Thank you. We love our visits to Hunstanton and cannot wait to return to The Spontaneous Cuppa each time. It is a credit to the town.

My guesthouse did not serve porridge 🤦

I thought I would ask a few local cafes in Hunstanton if they served it but, no.

I visited here and Adrian asked Anne and she said she could serve it and then asked did I want nutmeg or cinnamon with it ?

Did I want sugar or Stevia with it ?

Did I want it cooked the Scottish way with a pinch of salt ?

It was perfect 👍

I returned the next day before departure for the same with lovely coffee and take away cakes. Thank you.

Having been diagnosed with coeliac disease recently and heading on holiday to Hunstanton, I was so happy to see a Coeliac UK accredited café that is completely gluten free (and mostly dairy free also). The owners Anne and Adrian go above and beyond, and I have eaten some delicious food with non-gluten free friends who wouldn’t have known the food was free-from! Every dish/dessert was delicious – the sausage rolls, ham & pesto tagliatelle, beef burger, maple glazed ham with crispy potatoes & salad, trillionaires tart, cheesecake and rocky road. Also the coffee blend is lovely – friends also saying it is one of the nicest they have ever tasted. Can’t wait to be on holiday and visiting you again! Thanks so much 😀🧡

I took the family to The Spontaneous Cuppa when we visited Hunstanton in July. Both my daughter and I were in our element. The choice was vast and for once we didn’t feel a nuisance as there was no need to ask awkward questions. The team knew exactly what they were talking about when it comes to free from diets. My husband is a muggle and he nearly licked his plate clean!

We sought out The Spontaneous Cuppa during our day out to the coast as it had great reviews for gluten free food and was Coeliac UK accredited. We weren’t disappointed.

The food was delicious, and it was enjoyable to have the full menu to choose from. We didn’t want to leave without trying everything and ended up buying extra cakes and sausage rolls to take back home with us.

One small suggestion we’d have is that it was a bit echoey inside and we thought the space might benefit from some art or soft furnishings to warm up the atmosphere a touch. You also can’t see in from the outside because of the frosted glass which we thought might put people off who are just wandering by, which would be a shame because it’s a really great joint.

But that’s just a small bit of feedback for the owners, who were absolutely lovely, chatty people. If you’re deciding where to eat, we’d wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

I’m sure if we were locals this would become a favourite eatery, and if they released a “Spontaneous Cuppa” gf recipe book we’d definitely buy it!
